It is a beautiful and sunny day in the A and what more best to do than enjoy it. I am NOT a fan of the cold. Though I love dressing in layers and wearing trench coats and boots, I’d rather it be nice and warm but not too hot. I hope I am not asking for too much. Just the perfect sunshine and wind and I’ll a find reason to hit the streets 🙂
Today, I decided to dress up my new addition to my closet….The floral print dress. I am in love with this dress because it allows for a mix and match. Since spring is approaching, I thought I’d celebrate it with a floral dress 🙂 I most certainly gravitate towards bright colors and I love me some red.
So, I went to The Limited to check out the new collections, which are fantastic by the way. However, I have never not checked the sale section when I walk in the store. I saw this beautiful belted scarf print shift dress that I once admired in the catalog and it was on sale (Now, that’s what I’m talking about!).
There is just something amazing about the colors red and blue when put together. The two vibrant colors compliment each other. Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, ….
This leather skirt is the bomb dot com. It’s my “go to” leather skirt. I like how it has two shades of black because it allows me to be playful with it. I chose to pair it up with a lace crop top and black and gold sexy sandals. Gold is one of my favorite accent colors.
Even though I am a huge sucker for black, I like to mix patterns, prints and textures. The sequin cami and leopard boyfriend blazer inspired this look. I love how the leopard pattern on the blazer compliments the sequin on the cami. It is a perfect pair.
